Student-driven course work on a topic of interest. May focus on macro subject matter in the discipline of social work, with final course description, learning objectives, and assessment to be determined in consultation with faculty member. Policy and research components are required. Limited number available per term, summer specialist year standing. Prior faculty approval required; competencies determined by student and faculty supervisor.
